Cloth placement: Use your right index finger to lift the pressure plate, place the prepared fabric flat under the pressure plate, and gently place it back under the pressure plate to press down on the fabric 5. Sewing operation: Hold the fabric with your left hand and press it gently and quickly with your right thumb. The fabric feeding mechanism will automatically send the sewn fabric to the left. Hold the machine with your right hand still and let the machine feed the fabric itself.
