Where your order ships from
Placid Deals is an online retailer, not a warehouse. We do not hold the stock ourselves: our supply partners pack and send your order to you directly, some from warehouses in Australia and some from overseas. Every product page says which before you buy, and whether the item can reach your address is checked again at checkout. It means we can carry a far wider range than a shop our size could stock, and it means delivery takes longer on an item coming from overseas.
Before you pay
The store checks whether an item can be delivered to the selected destination. The applicable freight amount is shown before payment; an order cannot proceed when the product is not deliverable there.
Delivery charges
Some items carry no delivery charge. The delivery charge for an item, and whether it can be delivered to your address at all, is confirmed for your postcode before you pay; we do not state a delivery charge, free or otherwise, until your postcode has been checked. Where an item cannot be delivered to a postcode, checkout is not available for that destination.
Dispatch and delivery
Dispatch and delivery timing can vary by product, supplier and destination. We will provide tracking or an order update when it becomes available. Delivery estimates are estimates, not a guarantee of a particular arrival date.
Delivery outside Australia
We deliver to the United States, Canada and New Zealand where a product can be sent there. Prices for those countries are shown in their own currency with delivery included. The estimated delivery window for that destination is shown on the product page before you pay; it comes from the carrier and is an estimate, not a guaranteed arrival date. Import duties or local taxes set by your country are not included.
