• Open the cover plate, use a clean cloth to wipe the prism.
• Take a few drops of testing liquid to the detection prism, then close the cover plate slowly to avoid producing bubbles which will make the liquor spread all over the prism surface.
• Put the cover directly point to the light source or bright place, observe the field of view through the eyepiece.
• Turn the eyepiece to adjust the hand wheel to make the blue and white line clear. The scale value of the dividing line is the concentration of the liquor.
